THE ABCs OF 3(a) CASES

Allison (Aly) Witcofski is a Deputy County Attorney with the Scotts Bluff County Attorney’s Office. She specializes in Juvenile Law with an emphasis on 3(a) cases and truancy matters. She also practices Criminal Law. Besides being an attorney, Aly is also one of Scotts Bluff County’s Coroners and a Notary Public.
Prior to joining the County Attorney’s Office in early 2026, Aly worked as a Private Defense Attorney and Guardian Ad Litem for Douglas Kelly Law Office in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Her practice mainly focused on Juvenile Law and Guardian Ad Litem work (both juvenile and probate).
Aly graduated from Gering High School as Valedictorian of her class in 2014. She then went onto the University of Nebraska at Kearney where she graduated as Summa Cum Laude of her class in 2018. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and a Minor in Criminal Justice. Aly then attended the University of Nebraska’s Law School and graduated in 2021 with her Juris Doctorate Degree.
When Aly isn’t working, she enjoys reading and running. She also likes to attend concerts (mostly for the Jonas Brothers) and the occasional Comic Con convention.
